Insurgency and Opportunity: Companies, Countries, and CommunitiesTechonomy's focus is the exponential pace of technology progress, and its impact on business and society. A wave of accelerating change is washing over all areas of our lives, bringing with it near-limitless potential for improvements across business, the economy and society. Our goal at Techonomy is to help leaders and innovators better understand how to anticipate and harness this power rather than be blindsided by it. Businesses must reconceive operations to accommodate changes in how customers, employees, and suppliers communicate and behave. Society must change as well—a planet with billions of uneducated, malnourished, unhealthy, disenfranchised people cannot be sustained. A central focus of tech-driven innovation will be to address those inequities. We believe business is a powerful tool for creating and sustaining such innovation, and that there are enormous opportunities for entrepreneurs, companies, investors, and engaged citizens in this process. At Techonomy we devote ourselves to identifying transformative opportunities and disruptions and convening discussions around them. Our approach is to gather as many different voices as we can into a multidisciplinary dialogue about building a better future.
